Vanessa Mortley-McHugh Obtains Enrolled Agent Status

Payroll Network is proud to announce that Vanessa Mortley-McHugh recently obtained status as an Enrolled Agent with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). An enrolled agent is one who may represent tax payers before the IRS. Enrolled agents are not restricted by whom they can represent; what tax matters they can handle; and at which IRS offices they can practice.

Vanessa spent several months studying for the Special Enrollment Examination (SEE). After passing the exam, Vanessa applied for enrollment and then underwent an extensive background check to ensure that she has not engaged in any conduct that would justify suspension or disbarment of her CPA status from practice before the IRS.
